DISCLAIMER: We do not issue any licenses, nor are we approved by any Authority to do so. We only provide comprehensive fundamental training preparation that encompasses all the prerequisites to prepare you for your actual license training at an approved flying school. Our standards exceed those of approved flying schools, as they comply with the ‘MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS’, while we do not. We adhere to and deliver only the highest standards.
The IFR ground training preparation at TOP PREPARE will take about 3 weeks, that includes 70hrs of mix reality flight simulator where we will train to proficiency all maneuvers required for the IFR.
*Nevertheless, piloting is not just about the training but also about the time and effort you invest in your studies. The IFR course, for instance, requires a minimum qualification of a PPL. However, your success in the course will largely depend on your dedication to study and understand the material. It’s important to remember that comprehension is key during the preparation phase. It’s better to take your time to understand and perform well during this phase than at the flying school, where you will be charged by the hour. So, your commitment to your studies can not only affect your performance but also have financial implications. In the end, your success hinges on your dedication and commitment to your studies.
Students that progress quickly through the courses are proficient at English.
The preparatory educational training will be conducted in El Gouna, Red Sea. We do not offer online IFR preparation because optimal training requires direct interaction between the instructor and the trainee, which is crucial for the trainee’s progress.
The Instrument Pilot Course is designed to teach pilots to operate aircraft in low-visibility environments, such as heavy cloud cover or heavy rain. The flight lessons in this course provide pilots with the knowledge to rely solely on instruments to navigate the aircraft in situations where they cannot rely on visual instincts.
As many pilots can attest, weather conditions do not always permit the sole reliance on visual flying tactics. This restricts the ability to fly on certain days. The Instrument Rating is essential for any pilot looking to improve flight safety. It is also the next step in the pursuit of a career in flying. Pilots without the rating are prevented from operating aircraft in certain weather conditions where visibility is greatly reduced. Therefore, this limits their maximum allowable altitude, restricts the ability to operate the aircraft at night, and more.
Holding an Instrument Rating also allows pilots the ability to operate under an IFR flight plan, which provides Air Traffic Control services not available to VFR pilots except upon special request. These include traffic advisories, airspace transitions, and vectors. When operating in high-volume airspace, these privileges are a significant advantage.
Typically, there is 1 module to study in order to prepare for the exams (EASA/FAA has a very similar structure). What we provide are the fundamentals of flying and knowledge, which cover all the topics listed below. The flight school you join will train you according to their respective Civil Aviation Authority Training requirements. Nevertheless, you will quickly grasp it as you already have a foundation in the following topics:
