We only provide comprehensive fundamental training preparation that encompasses all the prerequisites to prepare you for your actual license training at an approved flying school. Our standards exceed those of approved flying schools, as they comply with the ‘MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS’, while we do not. We adhere to and deliver only the highest standards.
The PPL ground training preparation at TOP PREPARE will take about 3 weeks, that includes 35hrs of mix reality flight simulator where we will train to proficiency all maneuvers required for the PPL.
*Nevertheless, it will depend on how much time you can dedicate to your studies and what pre-existing knowledge you already possess. Ultimately, everything hinges on your commitment to study and comprehend. It is better to take your time to comprehend and perform during the preparation phase that at the flying school, where you will be priced by hour.
Students that progress quickly through the courses are proficient at English.
The preparatory educational training will be conducted in El Gouna, Red Sea. We do not offer online PPL preparation because optimal training requires direct interaction between the instructor and the trainee, which is crucial for the trainee’s progress.
Typically, there are nine modules to study in order to prepare for the exams (EASA/FAA has a very similar structure). What we provide are the fundamentals of flying and knowledge, which cover all the topics listed below. The flight school you join will train you according to their respective Civil Aviation Authority Training requirements. Nevertheless, you will quickly grasp it as you already have a foundation in the following topics:
- Air Law – covering the rules and regulations governing aviation
- Aircraft General Knowledge (AGK) – Featuring aircraft design and systems, instrumentation, electrics, engines and emergency equipment
- Flight Planning & Performance – learn how to do important pre-flight calculations to ensure you have sufficient fuel, runway length and so on
- Human Performance & Limitations (HPL) – covering the psychological and physiological effects of flight
- Meteorology – learn what causes different weather conditions, how they affect flight and how to interpret aviation forecasts
- Navigation – basic navigation theory and use of electronic navigation aids
- Operational Procedures (OP) – covers the standard procedures that you must follow when operating aircraft
- Principles of Flight (PoF) – aerodynamics, how aircraft fly and how different variables affect lift and drag
- Communications – how to communicate using radio telephony.
